About Me
I’m a traveling locums Anesthetist with a passion for helping people—not just in the OR, but in life. Born in Bosnia, I was a refugee in the early 90s, and that experience shaped how I see the world. Before anesthesia, I worked in construction and became skilled in just about every aspect of the trade. Today, I apply that same hands-on, problem-solving mindset to my work in medicine. I’ve been traveling as a locums for over a year now, and I absolutely love what I do. My favorite part of anesthesia is easing people’s fear and pain—it’s an honor every time. I also enjoy helping others get started in locums and fine-tuning their setup to keep Uncle Sam out of their pockets. I’m passionate about travel (Thailand tops the list so far), meditation, spirituality, philosophy, and history. I take a logical and stoic approach to life, but I can ramble for days when something lights a fire in me—just ask my wife. As a proud Slavic soul with a unique background, I can talk to you about just about anything, from politics to ancient civilizations. Looking forward to connecting.
