Passionate about startups, science and music. Founded a tech company in 2014 alongside my PhD with the goal of finding participants for my research. Raised investment, went through Y Combinator and scaled the company to 8 figures in revenue and a team of ~60, empowering tens of thousands of researchers around the world to do high-quality research on-demand. Successfully exited from the company & currently focused on mentoring founders and investing.

When you find yourself stuck and asking the question, “What the f*@k do I do now?!?!” - that’s the perfect time to reach out to me for immediate breakthrough. • Don’t carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. • Don’t remain in the dark without a clear way forward. • Don’t keep spinning your wheels. • Don’t let yourself be paralyzed by uncertainty and indecision. I’m the CEO of Grey Owl Enterprises, with a focus on adaptive, strategic advisory services. Our slogan is “Elegant Solutions to Complex Challenges.” But that’s just a fancy way of saying we help our clients when they’re stuck in a quagmire of indecision, whether personal or professional. For example, one of our clients asked, “Should I divorce my wife or give up my business?” My clients are serious people that encounter serious challenges, that don’t always look like buy or sell…hire or fire. They are sometimes the challenges that life throws at you. I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was 7 years old (perhaps creating the first ever MLM at a elementary school). I learned early that every problem has a solution. This was helpful when I was hired to resolve a weight distribution challenge for the installation of a solid gold toilet on the private jet of a Saudi Sheik. Another of my more interesting encounters took place when I was hired to physically accompany a businessman into every meeting around the globe for 8 months to provide real time, private strategies that would ensure he raised $250m USD to fund the placement and building of a manufacturing plant. That was fun (and yes, successful). You may not know me, but I’ve been in the background of numerous companies, startups, politicians and sovereigns to provide insight, analysis and strategies. The core of my competency is critical thinking, active listening, and skillful communication that targets the person as well as the situation. My skills are not always applied to business though. For 7 years I was a consultant to therapists, PHDs and mental health professionals – to help them get through the emotional challenges that came with “failure” in their work. I’ve worked with counter-human trafficking organizations, spoken with men’s groups on navigating the challenges of being a man today, and have been a mentor to the young professional who needs guidance. Because my experience has shown me every question has a framework that contains its answer, I have answers to both the common and uncommon questions. Just ask, I’m here.

In addition to being a homeschool graduate and the oldest of ten children, her diverse background experiences also include living in eight US states, West Germany, and Austria and traveling to more than 12 other countries. Khalilah is a Research Specialist and author whose goal is to create an educational system that establishes an environment for unifying diverse populations through creative, individualized expression in all scholarly disciplines. Her current research focus draws from 19th Century German philosophy relating to Bildung and Gesamtwerk as she explores the homeschool experiences from parent and homeschool graduate perspectives. With more than 30 years of teaching experience in PreK-12 schools and University courses, public/private/homeschool settings—all within five different countries—Khalilah has a unique perspective on education and pedagogy. She has helped families, schools, and districts find creative, yet simple, solutions to create astonishing lasting results. Additionally, Khalilah has more than 20 years of training and experience within CRT/DEI/Post-modernist philosophy and programs. The deep inside knowledge she brings to discussions has helped many navigate the treacherous waters of these areas without losing their hold of the good within them. As a polymath who is always seeking opportunities to continue learning and growing, Khalilah rarely has free time. However, when she does, she enjoys reading, music, crafting, renovating her 1930s home, and spending time with her family.
