Hello! I’m here to help with any advice that I can to help you achieve your dream in becoming a professional pilot. With over 23 years of experience in the aviation industry I would like to offer my services to you! I started my career in Torrance California as a Robinson R22 Helicopter Instructor back in 1999. September 11, 2001 forever changed the shape of the United States and both the commercial and general aviation environments. During that time I had applied to become a helicopter pilot with the U.S. Army. I was accepted and did 8 years as an active duty UH-60 Pilot in a MEDEVAC unit with 3 years combat experience in Iraq, over 200 combat missions, with multiple Air Medals, two of which for achievement. My career in the Army led me to become a contract Instructor for the military teaching Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW- basic helicopter flight) at Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker). That was extremely rewarding teaching over 98 candidates, with 100% pass rate, the joy of flight. During my time there I applied for US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). That led me on a very eventful career defending the United States Border using aviation tactics and techniques to intercept and interdict targets / threats. Being a pilot is a very small part of this job. I enjoyed working alongside all Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, State Law Enforcement Agencies, and Local Police. I served along the southwestern border, the southeastern Caribbean area and at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in my 13 years as a Federal Agent. Besides being qualified in defensive tactics and active shooter response techniques as an instructor, I am qualified in over seven airframes in both Rotary Wing and Fixed Wing. During my time at CBP, I used my GI Bill benefits to get my fixed wing add on ratings both private and commercial single engine. I also achieved a 4 year degree in one year using only one year of benefits using the VA. After 13 years in the federal government, I qualified for retirement with both my US Army service of eight years and decided to pursue a career with a major airline. So I decided to take a deferred retirement to the age of 62 for all of my federal time to pursue the last mile stone in my career. I was first interviewed and accepted by a company that flies cargo in the Boeing 747. I went through training passed it with flying colors and learned about aircraft crew, maintenance, and insurance (AMCI)charter aviation. I transition to the 767 where I did some flying for a big box company that everybody probably knows about and also flew troops all around the island of Japan. After doing that for two years, one of the big five major airlines called me and now I am happy piloting Airbus aircraft working for one of the most prominent passenger carriers ever in the United States. I would love to share my experience and help you achieve your dream career in aviation. Please let me know how I can help.

2019, I was running a thriving small business, climbing, hiking, snowboarding, and a mom of two young kids. 2020, ended with me fighting for my life following Covid vaccination. My injury took me from everyday mom and small business owner, to bed-bound and totally disabled. This was not the end of my journey but rather was just the beginning. After my condition was fully studied and treated at NIH headquarters, I discovered just how many others there are out there like me. To my surprise, the NIH did not help them; nor the FDA or CDC. Seeing that help was not coming for others, I partnered with Moderna-injured orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Joel Wallskog, to launch what is now the world’s largest Covid vaccine injury advocacy organization, React19.org. Supporting over 36,000 Covid vaccine injured Americans, we provide physical, financial, and emotional support through provider networks, support groups, financial support programs, and advocacy on The Hill. To date this non-profit has issued over $850,000 to people in need for out-of-pocket medical expenses, and has earned Gold status from the non-profit watchdog Candid for financial responsibility and transparency. Being an advocate for others with an illness that has become politically charged has been a very steep learning curve, but we have a lot of knowledge to impart! We also have a modest amount of experience on how to launch a non-profit, how to setup your finances for secure and responsible book-keeping, donor networking, how to cultivate and curate messaging, and even what works and what doesn’t in Washington. We cannot provide medical advice on this but I am able to work through React19’s advocacy network to help connect with educated providers who can help. I am also able to share my own personal journey to repair my health and what are trending tests and therapeutics we are seeing at React19. *100% of the proceeds from all interactions on Minnect will go to React19’s medical grant program. Each time you ask me a question, you will help someone get access to essential medical care. Let’s Minnect!
