Jeff Zigman
“The Business CTO”, an 11-year CTO tech entrepreneur and 13-year Business Analyst with a focus on rapid MVP creation for businesses.
Built 15 business-level MVPs solo, including a project delivered in 2 weeks that a company failed to build for $500K.
Led design and development of over 300 software solutions, specializing in solving complex problems with high-value impact.
Built TRUEclaims, a software that an Auto Adjuster spent 15 years trying to develop. Before meeting me, he went through 19 software companies, all of which said it was impossible, one of which wanted to charge him $1M to attempt to build it with no timeline provided. I built a working version in less than 1.5 months.
Some MVPs built:
TRUEclaims
Trucker Matcher (~2 weeks to MVP)
Partner Rally (~2 weeks to MVP)
Lead Bridge (~5 days to MVP)
Amazon Product Search/Filter (~2 weeks to MVP)
Easy Work Orders (~3 days to MVP)
Real Estate Showcase (~2 weeks to MVP)
Community Helper (~4 days to MVP)
COVID-19 Marketplace (~3 weeks to MVP)
Commercial Real Estate CRM (~2 weeks to MVP)
U10K - Uber For Freight (~3 weeks to MVP)
I’ve also been selling over a decade, particularly Tech Sales, and have closed many deals and onboarded well over 100 customers.
Things I can advise on:
✔️ How to build MVPs with the right scope
✔️ How to sell tech/software so your tech team doesn’t hate you
✔️ Scaling business through automation
✔️ Business-level MVP development
✔️ How to design a software product to actually solve customer problems
✔️ Early-stage product validation
✔️ How to manage a CTO/CEO relationship
✔️ Software project management

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

I raised 3 kids as a single mother while working on a degree in Data Management and Data Analytics. All 3 are now awesome adults. I'm an avid DIY- er. I can tile, sweat pipes, carpentry, and build a deck or a fence, just to name a few (currently putting hardie siding on the house).. My youngest child was born with Arnold Chari Malformation. Dr's said he would never be able to live on his own and be in a wheelchair. I didn't like that answer. When they say it can't be done..prove them wrong.. He graduated high school with an associates degree in computer science. Win! I was adopted by an abused pitbull. He showed up one day and refused to leave. Add dog training to the list of skills, food aggression broken, loose leash walking, heal, and many more tricks. 3 big dogs in my household along with 7 chickens , 1 10 yr old duck, and the cat who rules them all. Was married to a delusional bipolar for 12 yrs - fairly skilled at crisis management . I've worked for a SaaS reservation company for 10 yrs this month - technical support specialist. I've been told I have more jobs than a recruitment website (I think that was a compliment..I hope) I know several programming languages the newest being python, even coded in cobol back in the day. I've had courses in machine learning. I'm a certified project manager and certified web developer. I like puzzles and solving problems. I've taught swimming lessons for about 40 yrs along with adaptive aquatics - water therapy, parents and tots, adults / aquaphobic, and water aerobics. I've also taught CPR, had first responder medical certification, and volunteer first aid for Red Cross at races and other events.

Ray was awarded in 2024 with the prestigious Alumni Achievement Award from the Ivey Business School in recognition for significance in contribution to business and community.
