Greetings to you my dear, and thank you for visiting my profile. I will give you a brief insight on who I am and what my purpose is here. During Covid lock down 2020 I lost my dad. My father wasn’t only just a father to me, he was a father to my community and everyone that lived in it. I was conceived by my mother when my dad was 65 years old, my dad was a very simple and easy going man. He spoke a few words and farmed mostly. He was never a rich man and based on what I learnt from him he never had the desire to become rich. But neither were we poor. We had everything we needed. We were definitely lack of things we wanted, but having each other, listening to story’s at night before bed was just the most amazing thing a child like my self could ask for growing up. My mom was a housewife she made sure we went school, she cooked, clean, wash our clothes, you name it she took care of the home, me and my two sisters that I grew up with. After my dad passing it was really a heavy moment for all of us. And as this happen in lockdown it was even more difficult as I wasn’t able to attend the funeral knowing I will never see my father in flesh again. You can just imagine the pain I was feeling. Weeks went by, weeks turn into months and everything just seem to be crumbling. Because even tho my father thought me to be humble and just take your time through life. For me I had different intentions, I wanted to make my parents proud without them even knowing it. I wanted to surprise my dad with a fancy car one day you know even know I know I will have to drive him in it, book us a trip to travel somewhere, all these ideas just blew away in the wind At this point I was at rock bottom, smoking, drinking doing all negative things to my temple of a body. Until one day I was broke and I couldn’t buy smoke, now I really didn’t know what to do. That evening around 7:40pm I went on my knees and I started speaking to God. I said God if you are there please listen to me, I am alone I am at the end I can’t do anymore speak to me I want to know what to do, I have no direction whatsoever please Lord. And I will tell you this genuinely, a force of power came into my room, I could feel the wind on my face. Tears ran from my eye and suddenly I became sleepy. That was it! That evening I saw my self all the way back in my home town flying around a avocado tree which is my dad’s favourite. I was just there enjoying everything going though the community until I saw my dad sitting underneath a street light by himself. “I shouted daddy! And he responded as he normally would. Boy am right here why are you shouting. Wow! This was the end of my suffering, we spoke for time until I said to him, am I dreaming? He turned to me and said well if am dead what you think? Lol he was also a funny man. I could go on but I have limited text to fit in here but I can tell you this. If you lost someone, you really haven’t. They are even closer to you now.
