Born and raised in Dallas, TX, I went to the U.S. Naval Academy after high school. After 4 years in Annapolis and earning my undergrad in Political Science, I commissioned in the Marine Corps as a Supply Officer and served for 5 years in Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point, NC. Over this 9-year span, I saw immense change in my life: I became a husband and a father, I was molded and hardened mentally and physically by the Navy and Marine Corps, I learned what it means to lead men and women from all walks of life, I earned my MBA, and I began an adult ministry at my local Catholic parish. I have since moved back with my wife and kids back to Dallas-Fort Worth and established a successful civilian career in enterprise software consulting. I am privileged to have all the blessings in my life, but I believe those blessings would not have been possible if I didn’t persevere and prepare. “Luck is the point where preparation meets opportunity.” Whatever goals you have set for yourself- be it career plans, getting married and raising a family, matters of faith, personal finance/investing, the military, healthy living- give me a shout.
