Matan is a lifelong entrepreneur with 10 years of formal venture investing experience. In his current role as Managing Director of Verstra Ventures, he leads the team in sourcing and investing in B2B early-stage vertically focused software companies as well as advising founders. Prior to Verstra, he was a key player in many investments in the software, cleantech, and agtech industries in North America and Israel. His unique approach resulted in the formation of new companies, initiatives, and non-traditional deals. He has done over 40 venture investments, sits on several board, and has helped companies reach 9 figure valuations. Matan has an International BBA from the Schulich School of Business.
