Founder & CEO Homenerds inc CSO Tom Hopkins Sales Acadamy Student of the game I have spent 18 years selling door to door. And have 11 years in the solar industry. I grew up in NY about 1 hour north of NYC. And now reside in Miami Beach. I have had an incredible journey in the sales world, and now spend my time building and developing others to reach their goals in this incredible industry. At this point there is nothing I haven’t seen in the world of direct sales. I have sold all over the country. and had an amazing career developing direct sales teams across multiple industries. I have built teams in the cable industry, home security industry, and in 2013 transitioned into the solar space which I have proudly built a home in. I started my solar journey at SolarCity ultimately reporting to Elon Musk’s cousins Lyndon, and Peter Rive. This was honestly the best education I could have ever gotten. Took a door to door, shoot from the hip guy like me and helped propel my business acumen. We scaled our region to over 1000 sales reps and installed 100’s of MW during our tenure there. In 2020 I founded Homenerds. A residential solar sales organization. Our mission is to always give people more than they expect. This has been my baby, and am so excited and re invigorated every day to watch my people grow, and develop them into the leaders that this world needs while continuing to be a disruptive force against the age old utility infrastructure. In 2022 I had the incredible opportunity to take over my mentor’s personal legacy and acquire Tom Hopkins business. Under my care it will carry the same mission. To give people more than they expect. Tom is the author of what I call the sales bible which most of you are probably already familiar with. “How to master the art of selling”He set the record for most homes sold in a year pre internet. 365 homes in a single year. He is truly a living legend in the sales world. And I am honored to call him a friend and carry that torch for him with the best of my ability. To me success is defined as: The continuous journey towards predetermined worth while goals. We are not even close to done yet. My mission is only getting stronger and more defined. I believe my experience thus far in this short 35 years here on this earth can create shortcuts for you, or your business within this space.
