I was the one who was constantly asking questions. I would have ideas and dreams and always felt the desire to challenge myself. I enlisted in the USMC and was active in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I've held just about every conceivable job, lobster fishing, roofing, personal driver to selling everything from dreams to cruises. I never wanted to look back and say I should have tried that... I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time for what catapulted me into the big leagues, modern healthcare! I co-invented the first clinical non-contact thermometer, the Caregiver by Thermomedics. We built this small startup from Miami into the #1 selling non-contact thermometer in hospitals. Then my world crashed. The FBI came knocking on my door and I was indicted for what turned out to be one of the largest EBOLA stock frauds ever... I was determined to get through it. I didn't know how, but I had faith I would be ok. I relied heavily on close friends and my Faith. The Lord carried me through one of the most difficult and challenging times of my life. I had time to reflect on my life and the decisions I made. How I compromised my integrity for success. I survived 5 years in federal prison and am here to share my experience with you so that you don't make similar mistakes.
