Hi,I’m here as an expert from my experience. I have many talents but I spent 15 years struggling with opiate addiction. I also spent a lot of money and time on detox and treatment centers around the country. It’s been 11 years now and I don’t even remember, or think about it. I have a life that I feel blessed to live. But I can’t stand to see all these people struggling and dying from this. As well as the family and friends who are suffering not knowing what to do and listening to the wrong people. It’s sad that when people are in a crisis and don’t know where to turn, there’s always someone to take advantage of the situation. My family and I spent a lot of money and time with no idea what to do. I can’t get my 15 years that were crucial in my early adult life back- but I can help someone avoid a similar situation. And that would make it worth it to me. Obviously it’s a complicated problem and not enough variety of solutions. I’m happy to help families or friends with their struggles around this issue as well.
