Jason got his start in the world of the strange when he was 7 when he had a UFO sighting in the Ozark Mountains. Since then he has researched all aspects of the paranormal. In the mid-2000s, Jason started Mid-Continent Paranormal Research Society (MCPRS) in the Kansas City metro. For nearly 20 years, he has been actively investigating strange paranormal occurrences and locations with reports of paranormal activity. In 2011, Jason started the Mid-Continent Paranormal Conference which became the Kansas City Paranormal Conference in 2013 and is now Paracon KC. In early 2015, Jason joined Josh Heard as a host of The Ectoplasm Show. The Ectoplasm Show has now been running for ten years with 450 episodes of back catalog. Beginning in 2020, Jason decided to retire MCPRS and was looking for a new outlet for his paranormal research. That outlet is now Strange Paranormal.
