Born to parents that were heroin addicts, addiction was unfortunately a large part of my childhood. I succumbed to heroin, meth and cocaine addiction in college, and was chronically homeless on the streets and addicted for ten years. After getting out of jail and landing at a nonprofit, longterm treatment center in 2018, I experienced a spiritual and psychic change, resulting in nearly seven years of recovery to this day. I’ve since published a book, and routinely consult local governments, nonprofits, and addiction treatment centers on the homelessness and addiction.
