About Me
I am a digital gaming artist with over 19 straight years of professional game studio experience. I started my career as an unpaid artist intern, and have worked for studios both large and small. I have worked in the casino gaming industry for 18 years while working at IGT, Aristocrat, and Ainsworth. In addition I have worked for Stern Pinball and Zynga. My greatest creative strength is all forms of digital animation, VFX, and post production helping a creative project flow and follow a style guide to achieve desired goals. I have led and followed groups of artists through creative projects in varying size. Also I have worked on original games, and high budget IP brands under tight deadlines. I currently work in Unity realtime game development. I am well versed on the artist side of Unity while working with technical artists, and developers to solve problems and get the games to function correctly. I can help with any type of creative project with advice on layout, animation, timing, color theory, 3D mesh, simple rigging, skinning, 2D animation, VFX, etc. I have been working in various 3D software for over 20 years. I would consider myself an expert in After Effects for game type animation work. Also I have never used a recruiter so I can give advice on getting your foot in the door to a game studio. I would also be able to help with portfolio reviews.
