My name is David, but many of you may know me as Minnect Support. Born in Miami, the son of CubanšØšŗ immigrants and a first generation college student at Harvard. I majored in Economics with a minor in Psychology, with some stat classes sprinkled throughout. šUpon graduating in the midst of the pandemic, I began my career at Gartner. I was a Business Strategy and Operations Associate for about two years. During this time frame, I helped shape Gartnerās digital event strategy and developed tools that optimized Client Success Associatesā abilities to serve clients. During my client facing rotation, I worked with Heads of Finance and Real Estate, some from Salesforce, Abode, Whole Foods, etc., on their mission critical initiatives while simultaneously revolutionizing how clients were served by developing a framework orientated around the clientās job to be done. šØāš»I made a lateral pivot into Product by joining a team derived from a start-up Gartner had just acquired. I worked in a multitude of features until I was elevated to the task of integrating Gartnerās Peer Community into their event portfolio, allowing for the continuation of an in-person experience on a digital platform. š£š¼āāļøI rowed for nearly 8 years. In high school, I was a two-time Scholastic National Champion and won the Lightweight 8+ Youth National Championship by open water my senior year. I then walked on to the Menās Harvard Lightweight Rowing team, where my accolades include a gold medal at Eastern Sprints and a silver medal at the Head of the Charles Regatta, the largest regatta in North America. Since then, I have dabbled in strength training. Iāve competed in two powerlifting competitions and won bronze at my second event totaling ~1275 pounds. Other than that, my hobbies including cooking, reading, enjoying nature, š¾gamingš® and hanging out with my dog Kingpinš¶ Thanks for using Minnect!
