About Me
I’m Dr. Conor Cremin, a Computational Biologist and Bioinformatics Scientist with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and over eight years of experience working across genomics, AI, and precision medicine. My work sits at the intersection of clinical data and high-throughput sequencing, helping transform complex datasets into meaningful insights for healthcare, research, and innovation. I’ve led large-scale genetic studies, developed pipelines for HLA typing and rare disease screening, and built tools that integrate EHRs with genomic data to support clinical decisions. My expertise spans variant annotation, multi-omics analysis, and AI-driven modeling, particularly in oncology, chronic disease, and population health. Based in the UAE, I’ve contributed to national genome programs and worked on projects involving the Emirati Genome, UK Biobank, and Malaffi health records. I’m passionate about ethical, scalable genomics solutions — especially those that serve underrepresented populations and bridge research with real-world care. On Minnect, I help startups, clinicians, and research teams navigate technical and strategic challenges in bioinformatics. Whether you’re building a genomics product, launching a new study, or need guidance on pipeline development, I offer clear, practical advice grounded in hands-on experience. Let’s connect if you’re working on something exciting at the intersection of biology, data, and impact.
