I have 3 interlapping areas of expertise: 15 yrs as a rock/metal musician, performing in L.A. and Portland in the early '90s, and again in the 2000s. During this capacity I wrote, produced, and performed music, and managed and promoted my bands. After this I spent 20 yrs in tech marketing and business management working at companies like Logitech, launching products and software into a global market. In my 40s I decided to pursue my passion for history and earned an MA in history, and now I am wrapping up my Ph.D. in Medieval History. Along the way I raised two sons with my wife of almost 30 yrs and published my book. I have a boatload of wisdom (and failures) to share with people in each phase of their lives.
