I've been a self-employed entrepreneur for more than 30 years. In that time I've had many failures and a few wins. Entrepreneurship has taken me to my lowest lows and to moments that can only be described as extraordinary. Fortunately, through hard work, persistence, timing, wise investing, and good luck, I have managed to become financially independent by building (and sometimes selling) small businesses.
