I have nearly 20 years in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering) design and construction industry. I've done it all, from simple retail construction up to chemical labs, operating rooms, and custom industrial applications. Like the jingle says, I know a thing or two because I've seen a thing or two. I have designed and managed 100s of millions of dollars of construction. I have worked for consulting firms and contractors, managed engineering teams, and managed P&L for my teams. I have also mentored other engineers both early and mid career. One of the areas I am most consulted on professionally is building automation systems and their design.
