I am an RN by profession with Dual Masters in Nursing and Healthcare Administration. I have many years of experience in long term care and vast knowledge of the State and Federal Regulation. I held all nursing, management and leadership positions form a staff nurse, ADON, DON, Regional Nurse Consultant, Administrator to VP of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer role. I have developed impactful key clinical systems and programs, written hundreds of nursing policies and procedures, including creating practical tools and solutions in preventing injuries associated with risks living in congregate settings such as falls and pressure injuries. Management of health inspection and complaint surveys conducted by state and federal health agencies is one of my expertise. I have written hundreds of plan of corrections, licensure comments and won informal dispute resolutions on abuse and accidents/incidents supervision. I have great entrepreneurial skills and does consulting and management, innovating tools and programs, and run a home health company for my business. I have advanced knowledge on quality initiatives and performance improvement and a great public speaker. With home health start-ups, I have the knowledge and experience to assist and provide consulting and management services, including state licensure preparation. My clinical consulting, management and leadership experience in long- term care/skilled nursing put me as high level skilled nurse executive. If you are opening a new Skilled Nursing Facility, I have many years of experience preparing for initial licensure (CHOW) survey. With my management and administrative role in operating a skilled nursing facility, I have the knowledge and experience mentoring the entire management team with transition. I have planned and hosted many nursing symposiums on cardiac/pulmonary, wound care, falls, infection prevention as well as nursing skills fair.
