I started at UCLA focused on commercial real estate development, fueled by a desire for stability after the GFC made me wary of traditional stock market investments. However, two personal challenges and ultimately serendipity lead me full circle back to my true passion for the dynamic world of financial markets. For three years, I became a self-taught trader, fully immersing myself 24/7 in a relentless pursuit of mastery. I was particularly drawn to macroeconomic trends and how to trade options, derivatives, and futures markets. In December 2021, I saw an opportunity in crude oil based on these factors. Going against the grain, I sold my car and went all-in on oil futures, anticipating a mean reversion. My contrarian approach paid off as the Russian invasion sent prices skyrocketing. This 4,600%+ return solidified my passion for identifying macroeconomic trends. Since then I've gone on to be mentored by Hugh Hendry and other great traders on St. Barths I'm an expert on trading, energy/renewables, health and wellness, technology.
