My name is Tom. I’m a comedy writer, actor and comic originally from Boston, MA. I’ve been involved with a multitude of projects I’ve loved, and I’m very proud of. Some of these include music videos for major record labels like: Capitol, UMG, and Sony, as well as performing stand up comedy at many of the most acclaimed clubs in the country. My performing career started in Theater, and I attended college to pursue a career in Opera singing, I always felt comedy was going to be the result. Stand up comedian was actually my 8th grade job shadow, so I guess I’ve always known. I have also had work in broadcasting, having had a weekly show on ESPN radio NH, and two different podcasts: The Loudcast and Going on a Tangent with Tom Whalen. I have written or contributed to a variety of writing projects that include feature films and commercials. I also have a deep interest is parapsychology and can talk for hours about quantum physics, entanglement, and theoretical time travel. I love listening to old Art Bell episodes. I am a student of the mysteries and an east traveler, having just moved to Austin, TX from Los Angeles where I spent 8 years. I am also a deeply patriotic American, and I love reading and discussing history. I have a deep love and respect for our forefather and those who build our wonderful nation brick by brick.
