The assoc. prof. Linas Petkevičius has a PhD in computer science (2020, Vilnius University) with good competencies in both informatics and statistics. L.Petkevičius have received a master’s degree in statistics. During his doctoral studies, he developed mathematical and computer models for various biocatalyticmicro-bioreactor systems based on enzymatic reactions (bioreactor). After his doctorate studies, L. Petkevičius is a researcher working with artificial intelligence technologies. He is the co-author of 15 articles published in scientific journals with a citation index (IF) in the Web of Science (WoS) database. Heis an expert at MITA and the Austrian Science Foundation (FWF) and the technical department of the Lithuanian Standardization Department, a president of the Artificial intelligence association of Lithuania, and a member of the editorial board of the journal Nonlinear Analysis: Modeling and Control. From 2022 he’s also the Head of Department of Software Engineering at Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Vilnius University. Linas leading R&D projects, collaborating on research projects in field of AI.
