Jay is known to millions of fans worldwide as the oddball reporter and talk show host, Perd Hapley from the beloved NBC sitcom, Parks & Recreation. He’s also a fan favorite in the ABC drama, Scandal, where he played the big voiced news anchor Mike Waters. Jay has guest starred in numerous blockbusters and television shows, including Fast Five, Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, Battleship, Supergirl, Mercy and more. His television appearances include favorites such as Dexter, Pretty Little Liars, The Orville, Bones, Silicon Valley, The Neighborhood, Good Girls, Black Monday, Station 19, Criminal Minds, Rosewood, The Mentalist, Body Of Proof, The Closer and more. Jay has won numerous awards as a reporter for CBS News Los Angeles where he covered historic events such as the 9/11 Terrorist attacks, the Northridge Earthquake, the OJ Simpson trials and the Los Angeles Riots.
